Lorra Brown has more than 30 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and higher education. She is on the advertising and public relations faculty at the University of North Carolina’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media, where she directs online Master of Arts in Digital Communication graduate certificates. Previously, at William Paterson University, she launched PR and IMC programs, led student and alumni career and internship initiatives, and served as longtime PRSSA advisor. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Ogilvy and Weber Shandwick, leading award-winning campaigns in corporate, consumer, healthcare, sports, travel, and nonprofit sectors. She is a frequent contributor to PRSA Strategies & Tactics and PRSay.
