WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
First and Last PR, a high performing public relations and influencer agency, is hiring a senior level
strategic creative thinker to act as day-to-day point person on multiple client accounts within our
beauty division. The ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty industry and looking for a
company to contribute to with meaningful work. This person is a self-starter that knows how to
take initiative, will have worked within an agency setting or in-house for a beauty brand, is an
expert at pitching with a history of strong press placements, has great industry contacts and can
manage multiple accounts.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines
consistent with the overall client strategies
Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure
placements
Execute and advise on Public Relations and Influencer strategies; collaboratively develop
strategic media plans
Write and edit media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, pitches, fact sheets,
bios, case studies and backgrounders
Develop PR-specific marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and
tactics for each client
Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss media relations. Track and report ROI
for each campaign
Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure
placements including managing paid influencer programs
Look for and secure speaking and sponsorship opportunities for clients as experts in their field
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.
Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff; manage daily intern responsibilities.
SOME THINGS TO HAVE BEFORE APPLYING:
• B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field.
• At least 6 years of PR agency experience
• Creative and energetic personality
• Strong beauty and wellness background specifically public relations or influencer
campaign management
• Organizational skills. Ability/experience overseeing managing several accounts at
the same time while interacting with the team
• Problem-solving skills. Good judgment in what to report and how to report it.
• Writing skills. Proficient writing, editing and content strategy and development
expertise, including experience crafting bylines, blog posts, media pitches, video scripts,
newsletters, abstracts, executive bios and briefing sheets.
• Project management skills. Ability to work concurrently across multiple, diverse
projects; skilled at prioritizing workload and deliverables to meet client and team
deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a
positive attitude to ensure completion of assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
