The Digital Media Team Focus is to grow and retain our customer base across DMED’s Digital Media’s portfolio of entertainment products for ABC, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic. Examples of our team’s primary goals include:

  • Grow digital audiences via SEO & ASO across DMED Digital Media properties
  • Improve lifetime value by increasing engagement and reducing the lapsed user base
  • Define, develop, and deliver breakthrough programs and experiences that connect with users and deepen their engagement and loyalty

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life…

The Digital Media Intern will support the creation of data-driven, segmented marketing campaigns, lifecycle promotions and dynamic messaging in order to acquire, engage and retain digital audiences throughout the user lifecycle.

You will…

  • Support the development of digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content and tracking campaign progress
  • Handle day-to-day marketing activities such as copy writing/editing, campaign creation, and tracking/tagging of marketing assets
  • Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Interact cross-functionally with marketing, programming, and other teams across TWDC to successfully enable our growth marketing campaigns

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent record of academic and professional achievement
  • Previous internship experience within a related field
  • A strong interest in television, the entertainment industry, and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of current marketing technologies and trends
  • Demonstrated analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Evidenced strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver with a positive, can do attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Excel, familiarity with Pivot tables

Required Education

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or above, or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related

Additional Information:

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Work Environment

  • This internship will be located in either NYC, NY or Burbank, CA and interviewees can indicate their preference of location in the interview and interns must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to and from work
    • This will be a hybrid working situation with some days in the office and some days working remotely each week
      • The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space for working remotely.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2022 through August 2022
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours for the duration of the internship
