PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN (FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP)
Danielides Communications, Inc. (DCI) is a full service boutique public relations agency located in Midtown Manhattan with worldwide capabilities. We are currently seeking intern(s) for the 2013 Summer Internship. (June – August).
Intern responsibilities include drafting press releases, creating media lists, crafting media pitches, and day-to day contact with clients. We represent clients in a wide range of fields such as healthcare, education, arts and culture, as well as non-profit. Additionally, interns will assist in orchestrating special events at various venues, attending meetings, and assisting with all aspects of daily operations of the agency. DCI interns will receive hands-on work PR experience during their internship and achieve invaluable professional knowledge and skills.
Candidates should possess a strong interest in public relations, be self-motivated, hard working, creative, and detail-oriented in addition to responsible, organized, and dependable. Excellent writing skills and computer proficiency (i.e. Internet research, social media and Microsoft Office Suite are a must. Photoshop a plus. Junior and Senior applicants preferred.)
Compensation is $300/month and/or academic credit. Intern(s) must be available a minimum of two days per week.
