Vicinity Media Group, the publisher of three local North Jersey magazines and a weekly mobile app and publication, seeks an Editorial Assistant to join their team. The Editorial Assistant will work directly with the publisher, marketing representatives and Art Departments to ensure timely completion of tasks. Responsibilities include contributing to editorial content for both web and print publications and handling various day-to-day office tasks. This is a highly hands-on position and an excellent opportunity to learn the publishing business from the ground up as well as learn editorial, production and marketing skills. Ideal candidates should have an interest/background in magazine publishing and be a hard-working, dedicated, detail-oriented team player. Prior experience at a lifestyle or local publication is a plus.
