Hill+Knowlton Strategies Internship Program

Hill+Knowlton Strategies is seeking an intern to support the technology team in the New York office. The program is a formal internship designed to introduce you to the day-to-day business of a strategic communications firm and to help you develop the essential written and oral communicative skills required to conduct public relations activities. The internship is merely step one toward what will become a fulfilling career for many.
Interns will be assigned to work with a mid-level liaison on their respective team. Assignments are generally made on the basis of staffing needs for each client account, but whenever possible,   we will match the assignment with the intern’s personal skills and interests.
We require full-time availability throughout the program (minimum 40 hours per week) for 6 months.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related (2013 graduate)
• Previous tech PR internship or relevant leadership role at college/university
• Strong writing, social media, and research skills
• Familiarity with media relations
• Desire for a career in PR!

Interviews: If you meet the minimum qualifications, a member of our team will be in contact with you to schedule a phone interview. The team leaders will then select candidates for in-person at the New York office.

Compensation: $15/hour + overtime eligible (+40 hours/week)
