Our Associate Account Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Public Relations Department by providing the following services:
- Report, and provide support, to a senior JCPR team member (AE/SAE) on a daily basis
- Development of targeted media lists
- Monitor, identify, and work with the team to secure appropriate editorial calendar opportunities for clients
- Assist the JCPR team in securing targeted media placements for clients and deliver consistent results
- Solving complex client issues in a timely and appropriate manner with oversight
- Develop strong relationships with key members of the financial media
- Support senior JCPR executives on a daily basis
- Provide internet-based research to the team on clients, as required
- As needed, handle administrative, organizational and reporting tasks for the team and take notes on client calls
- Assist colleagues with other client and JCPR projects as needed
Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 1 year of agency experience
- Professional appearance and manner
- Computer literacy, specifically MS Office
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and a variety of projects simultaneously
- Experience with Cision, Vocus, and/or other public relations software a plus
- Experience with social media applications including Linkedin, Twitter, Blogs, Radian6
