
Social Media – Communications Internship
The primary role of the Communications Intern is to contribute to the success of all public relations campaigns on social media platforms. S/he will be responsible for listening and posting to all applicable social media outlets. Other duties may include tracking social media influence measurements, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks, preparing weekly reports, detailing performance metrics for all active social platforms. Interns may be asked to contribute administrative support to the Marketing Communications/Customer Service team or to act as Customer Ambassadors on the ground at our major transportation hubs.
Candidate must have:
- Enrolled and completed one year of college education at a US Department of Education accredited college or university
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must have a can-do; positive attitude
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, with excellent follow through working in a fast paced work changing work environment
- The ability to work varied shifts
