Billboard Pride is looking for a full-time editorial intern to start in the New York office this November! Candidate must be passionate and knowledgeable about all things music and pop culture and its relation to the LGBTQ community. A knowledge of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the show’s alumni is a must.
Daily responsibilities include:
-Writing daily posts for billboard.com (Familiarity with Drupal a plus)
-Interviewing artists and discovering new music
-Pitching ideas to editors
-Transcribing interviews
-Scheduling posts for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
-Fact-checking on major projects
-Assisting editors as needed
Hours are 10am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
