GAME PRESENTATION & ENTERTAINMENT CO-OP/POST-GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP
Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment (“HBSE”) is recruiting for our Emerging Talent program. This program offers current students or post-graduates the ability to apply their knowledge in a paid, full-time (40 hours per week), benefits eligible position in a program designed for either 6 months or 1 year with the opportunity to be considered for subsequent positions at HBSE. Fellows will meaningfully contribute to our efforts to be the most impactful sports and entertainment company in the world.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Game Presentation & Entertainment Fellow will support the Senior Director, Game Presentation & Entertainment for the 76ers and Blue Coat. For the 76ers, he/she will serve as a floor manager, schedule entertainment and assist in planning and coordination of game day activities. For the Blue Coats, he/she will plan, develop and coordinate with Group Sales FEB in game elements and schedule entertainment in the kid zone.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT AREN’T LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
76ers

  • Serve as floor manager for all 76ers home games, directing and assisting 76ers entertainment teams and game night staff with the execution of on-court promotions, prize giveaways, halftime acts, and all other in-game elements
  • Schedule / book various entertainment on the concourse: Theme Night entertainment, balloons decorations, Face-painters and coordination with Marketing on signage for all entertainment
  • Assist in the planning, development and coordination of all in-game elements

Blue Coats

  • Responsible for the planning, development and coordination of Group Sales FEP in-game elements
  • Schedule/book various entertainment in the Kid’s Zone

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrollment or recent graduate in marketing, communications, or sports/business management program preferred
  • Interest in live entertainment and event production/planning experience
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting goals/deadlines is a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Microsoft Teams would be preferable but not needed if familiar with another communication system
  • Exceptional customer service focus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail.


QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for the Program, Fellows must be currently enrolled or have already completed (no more than 1-2 years post-graduate) an accredited associate, undergraduate or graduate program with a strong nexus to the assignment area (e.g., Marketing Fellow should be studying marketing, PR or some other business-centric major). Candidates must be in excellent academic standing, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and able to dedicate a full-time 40-hour work week. Candidates must be able to report in-person to Camden, NJ a minimum of 3 days/week. Additionally, candidates should possess leadership skills demonstrated through relevant extracurricular activities along with meaningful internship or other experience.
