Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join the CNBC Communications team. This role will support the entire department with administrative and operational responsibilities. Reporting to the SVP Communications, the role will be based in Englewood Cliffs.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform general administration duties to the Communications Team, including processing departments expense reports, booking travel, and supporting event planning and execution.
  • Assist in drafting press releases, pitches, and other written material
  • Compile clip packets, distribute press materials to key executives, and monitor social media for all network related coverage.
  • Research media outlets, reporters and articles to better identify coverage opportunities and trends.
  • Support the production of internal communications, including collating stories and highlights of key achievements.
  • Proof and distribute press releases, media alerts and listings highlights.

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office in Englewood Cliffs, NJ a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience in publicity / communications, media or related industry (internships count!)
  • 1+ year(s) experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
