Amazing opportunities for fellowships, scholarships and awards shared by the Public Relations Society of America Foundation.

Fellowships:

  • AGEAN Public Relations Fellowship – $2,500 scholarship and a 5-week paid remote internship with AGEAN Public Relations – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified rising junior or senior annually who is pursuing a career in public relations
  • Bliss-Baker Fellowship – $5,000 scholarship and an 8-week paid internship with the Bliss Group in New York, NY – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified rising junior or senior who is pursuing a major in journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications.
  • LaunchSquad Fellowship – $10,000 scholarship, $4,000 stipend, and 8-week paid remote internship with LaunchSquad – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified student (rising junior, senior, or graduate student) annually who is pursuing a career in journalism, public relations, marketing & communications.
  • Just Drive Media Communications Fellowship – $5,000 scholarship and an 8-week full-time paid remote internship with Just Drive Media – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified rising junior or senior who is pursuing a career in public relations, journalism, advertising, marketing, or communications.
  • Method Communications Fellowship – $15,000 scholarship, $3,000 stipend, and 6-week paid remote internship with Method Communications – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified rising junior or senior annually who is pursuing a career in public relations or communications.
  • Mission North The Future Is…Fellowship – $30,000 scholarship, $6,000 stipend, and an 8-week paid remote internship with Mission North – This fellowship awards one BIPOC female identified student annually who is pursuing a career in PR focusing on tech communications, science communications, or digital marketing & design.
  • PressFriendly Fellowship – $1,500 scholarship and an 8-week paid remote internship with PressFriendly – This fellowship awards one BIPOC identified student (rising junior, senior, or graduate student) annually who is pursuing a career in public relations or communications.

Scholarships:

  • Axia Public Relations Scholarship – $2,000 – This scholarship awards juniors who demonstrate financial need, experience and passion for public relations, and dedication to professional ethics and excellence.
  • Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence in Public Relations – $1,000 – This scholarship awards graduate students in public relations or journalism interested in careers in corporate public relations.
  • Geoffrey M. Curtis Scholarship – Three $10,000 awards – This scholarship awards rising junior and senior undergraduate students who are pursuing a career in public relations, journalism, or communications and are BIPOC identified. Recipients are also offered the opportunity for a paid, full-year internship with the Institute for Public Relations during the award school year.
  • Ofield Dukes Multicultural Student Award – $1,000 – This scholarship awards minority students entering their junior year who are preparing for a career in public relations and demonstrate a commitment to service and social responsibility.
  • PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship – Two $1,500 awards – This scholarship awards minority students entering their junior or senior years who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the practice of public relations.

  • PRSA also offer additional scholarships exclusive for Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) members. Information about these scholarships is available on our website.

The deadline for fellowships is March 8, 2024, and the deadline for most scholarships is April 30, 2024.
