FischTank PR is seeking hungry PR and communications professional to join FischTank PR as a Senior Account Executive or Account Manager. This role refers to an individual who has 2-4 years professional experience preferably at an agency or in-house in a communications or PR-focused role, and demonstrable experience supporting clients within Climate tech/Sustainability and/or B2B/B2C Technology a plus.
An SAE or AM at FischTank serves as a tactical role on accounts, completing key tasks around admin, media monitoring, list building, reporter research, and media relations, account management, and client management, among others.
This is a role best suited for someone who is a self-starter and ambitious, looking to learn from their more experienced colleagues and our established roster of clients.

Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience at a PR agency of in-house working with Climate tech/Sustainability or B2B/B2C/emerging technology companies
- A strong network of reporter relationships including top tier and trade
- An initiative to achieve media results that impact client business
- Strong writing skills that translate to PR outcomes (press releases, bylines, op-eds, blog posts)
- Well organized, autonomous, self-starter
- Open-minded, ready to learn, growth mind-set
- Shows desire to grow as a professional in the PR space
- Receives constructive feedback well and sees it as a growth opportunity
- Works well in an open, team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google (Search + G-Suite)
- Fundamental understanding of social media use for business
Responsibilities
- Reports to Account Directors
- Handle responsibilities across ~6-8 accounts
- Handle tasks including pitch writing, media monitoring, media research, reporting, agendas, and other account admin
- Support larger account initiatives as assigned by account leaders
- Achieve media results on behalf of clients through proactive media relations outreach
- Learn the ins and outs of PR agency work, client communications, and the “why” for why companies hire us
- Relentless pursuit of client outcomes
Salary (based on experience): $65-82,000
