The Omnicom Global Clients and Growth team is responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring an exceptional client experience for our top integrated accounts by building and executing world-class marketing, new business, and client service strategies and enabling and supporting the success of the global client leadership team. This includes managing cross-agency new business pitches, conceptualizing and carrying out marketing events and campaigns as an integrated Omnicom presence, and strengthening operations for the top client leaders through knowledge sharing and capability awareness.

The Growth Team Intern will report directly to the Operations Associate on the Global Clients Team and will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Client Officer and Vice President of Marketing. The candidate that will thrive is detail-oriented, proactive, creative and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day tasks and implementing those necessary needs for the business and offers invaluable experience and a deepened understanding of how the industry works at the highest level while also offering a view into a broad network of agencies, specialties, and service offerings and capabilities.

This role requires regular in-office presence with a minimum of three days per week, to engage and collaborate in-person with the team and for meetings as required.

This role has the potential of becoming a full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a wide and complex variety of administrative support duties and tasks such as owning schedules, managing calendars, booking travel, preparing expense reports, and managing guest and meeting bookings
  • Maintain team processes to ensure priorities are progressing in a timely manner
  • Track deadlines and in-flight projects and follow up with the appropriate teams and people as necessary
  • Support the team on industry research projects
  • Support the Marketing team on event activations
  • Support the coordination of our In-Person GCL meetings, monthly virtual briefings, client dinners, and gatherings for the global team and their clients, as needed
  • Manage/track event budgets
  • Capture detailed notes on calls and handle distributing to the relevant team members and saving information as required in our databases, as needed
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience working within and across teams
  • Ability to multi-task and switch between projects and subjects seamlessly
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast paced environment
  • Experience or interest in the Marketing and Advertising industry
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communication, Business, IMC
